The "Walk for Water" is an 8th grade initiative to raise money for the "Water for Sudan" project. The event is school wide and any 6th, 7th, and 8th grader may participate in the walk. Students are required to raise $30 for the "Water for Sudan" project and then they will be eligible to participate in the walk on May 6th.

Following the walk there will be a carnival for all. Younger siblings, parents, relatives may all come and participate in the carnival which will also be raising money for the "Water for Sudan" project. The carnival will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the Rockford High School track (RCC track if weather is not permitting).

Science Test on Friday!

The science test on sound/energy will be on Friday, April 29th. Students have received a study guide (due Thursday) and will be making review packets to prepare for the test. The test will cover chapters 20 - 21 from the textbook.
